Linda Cox – tapped as charter Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for The Build Tampa Bay Foundation.

Build Tampa Bay was established in cooperation with the Gulf Coast Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors to encourage high school students, their parents and school advisors to explore career opportunities in construction-related fields.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the skilled worker shortage is expected to grow to 1.6 million workers in the construction industry by 2022. Moreover, more than four out of five Associated Builders and Contractors member companies nationally are already experiencing a shortage of appropriately skilled workers, despite an annual investment of $1.1 billion in apprenticeships and workforce training. The Build Tampa Bay Foundation is working to encourage more individuals to explore lasting career opportunities in these fields

Board of Trustees is comprised of Linda Cox as Chair, Natalie King of RSA, Chris Jimenez of Painters On Demand, Jack Olmstead of Tri-City, Wayne Fernandez of J.O. DeLotto & Sons, Steve Cona III of ABC and Rhonda Bisset of ABC.
